Calgary, 14 December 2022 – The Filipinos in Alberta and Saskatchewan who wish to vote in the 2025 Philippine National Elections may now register as overseas voters.

The overseas voting registration period for overseas Filipinos resumed on 9 December 2022 and will last until 30 September 2024.

New voters (those who will turn 18 years old on during the next election period from 13 April to 12 May 2025) and those who failed to vote during the last two Philippine national elections are required to register as overseas voters.

As personal appearance is required for overseas voting registration, those who are eligible to register are requested to appear at the office of the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary at Suite 100, 1001 1st St. SE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2G 5G3.

Meanwhile, Consul General Zaldy B. Patron had sworn in the Administering Officer, Voter Registration Machine Operator, and Members of the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) and their substitutes who will oversee the 22-month long overseas voting registration period.

The PCG is open for voter registration from Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
