30 September 2021, Calgary – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary conducted an overseas voter mobile registration in Edmonton, Alberta, on 28-29 September 2021, and was able to process 153 overseas voter registrations from Filipino citizens who are planning to vote in the upcoming May 2022 Philippine national elections.

 “Through this mobile registration, the PCG was able to make it convenient for our fellow Filipinos in Edmonton, which hosts the second largest Filipino population in Alberta, to register as overseas voters. We are glad to hear that many of them expressed excitement to cast their votes for the elections next year,” Consul General Zaldy Patron said about the activity.

Since December of 2019, the PCG has been conducting overseas voter registration in its office in Calgary for Filipinos in Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

The period for overseas voter registration has been extended until 14 October 2021. Those who wish to register as overseas voters can email PCG Calgary at calgarypcg.OV@gmail.com to request an appointment.
