the Government House in Edmonton, Alberta. The traditional event is hosted annually by
the Lt. Governor for the Consular Corps and ranking Provincial and Federal

During
the New Year’s Day call, the Consul General reiterated the close cooperation
between Calgary PCG and the Provincial Government of Alberta in promoting
common interests especially on the welfare of the over 175,000 Filipinos in the
province including some 75,000 Filipinos in Calgary.
Consul General and Madame Asuque later joined other members of the Consular Corps in Edmonton for the group photo with Lt. Governor Mitchell.
