8 November, Calgary – Despite the snow and
cold weather, a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Calgary, led by Consul General Gilberto
Asuque, conducted a consular outreach in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada.
About
300 Filipinos in Grand Prairie and nearby areas applied for various consular
services offered by PCG Calgary, including passport applications, notarial
services, civil registrations, NBI applications, and dual citizen applications.
Grand Prairie is a city in Northwest Alberta that
has a total population of about 69,000. An estimated 3,500 Filipinos live and
work in the city.
