23 September  2020, Calgary – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary is pleased to inform the Filipino community in Alberta and Saskatchewan that the Secretariat of the 2020 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organization Overseas (PAFIOO) will be holding its first Live Q&A via Facebook on September 30, 2020 (Wednesday), 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN (Manila time).

 

The Live Q&A session aims to encourage more nominations and guide interested overseas Filipino and foreign individuals and organizations with their nominations by providing them instant answers to their concerns on the nomination process, eligibility, qualifications, requirements, etc.

The Commission on Filipinos (CFO) earlier informed the public that the submission of nominations to the 2020 PAFIOO has been extended from 31 July 2020 to 31 December 2020. The PCG issued an announcement about this on 9 June 2020 on its Facebook page.

 

For those submitting nominations for the PAFIOO, please submit your nominations to the PCG on or before 15 October 2020. The PCG is tasked to review the nominations coming from Alberta and Saskatchewan before they are endorsed to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas.
