Calgary, 16 May 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary and the Philippine-based Asian Consulting Group (ACG) Inc. will jointly organize a webinar on the investment and taxation regulations in the Philippines on 31 May 2023 at 6:00 PM (MST) via Zoom.

Mr. Mon Abrea, Co-Chair of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Task Force on Paying Taxes in the Philippines, will serve as the main speaker.

Mr. Abrea is an accomplished tax advocate and tax expert. Among the many recognitions he has received are the following: 2017 Outstanding Young Persons of the World, 2016 Digital Mover, 2015 The Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines (TOYM), and Asia CEO Young Leader Award.

The ACG is the Philippines’ first tax hub for top corporations, SMEs, and celebrities in the Asia-Pacific region.

An advocate for a genuine tax reform in the Philippines, ACG has built partnerships with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Anti-Red Tape Authority Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Task Force on Paying Taxes.
