6 April 2022, Calgary – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary successfully conducted the Final Testing and Sealing of all the election materials, including the Vote Counting Machine (VCM), that will be used in the conduct of the 2022 Overseas Voting exercise.
With a voting population of 16,524, PCG Calgary’s Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) conducted the FTS on all the election materials, including the VCM, eight sets of SD cards, and 80 test ballots, to ensure that the election materials are working properly in time for the start of overseas voting period on 10 April 2022.
PCG Calgary will conduct bi-weekly feeding of all received postal ballots, every Monday and Thursday, starting 11 April 2022 from 9:00 AM, Mountain Time, throughout the election period. Voting will end on 9 May 2022 at 5:00 AM, Mountain Time (9 May, 7:00 PM, Philippine Time). – END
