Calgary, 1 September 2023 -  Consul General Zaldy Patron showed support for the Filipino evacuees from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, who have been temporarily relocated to Alberta.

On 25 August 2023, Consul General Patron visited the Edmonton Expo Centre and met with ten Filipino evacuees.

He also attended a dinner event, jointly organized by the Bridge International Church and Migrante Alberta, for the Filipino evacuees on 30 August 2023 at Pathway@Cambrian Church in Calgary where he met with another batch of Filipino evacuees.

On both occasions, Consul General Patron explained to the Filipino evacuees the assistance that the Philippine Government could extend to them.

He also thanked the members of the Filipino community in Alberta who have reached out to the Filipino evacuees and given them various forms of support.
