21 December 2018, Calgary – The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary hosted on 20 December 2018 a Christmas and Thanksgiving Night for the Filipino Community at SAIT Tastemarket in Downtown Calgary.  About 100 representatives of the Filipino community attended the event. 

In his remarks, Consul General Gilberto Asuque thanked the Filipino community for their support for the PCG’s projects and activities in 2018. He enumerated some of the important achievements of the PCG this year on consular services, cultural diplomacy, economic diplomacy and political diplomacy.
